| Description Recommend approval to extend an annual contract for self-funded health plan third party administration services with HealthSCOPE in the estimated amount of $450,000.00. The City offers a self-funded health plan for eligible active employees, pre-65 retirees, and eligible dependents. The plan covers approximately 4,900 employees, retirees and dependents. HealthSCOPE Benefits currently provides claims administration for the City. Due to extenuating circumstance related to the malware attack in 2018, this software-intensive contract could not be put back out for competitive procurement this year. The Human Resources Department intends to issue an RFP for this contract in 2019. The estimated annual cost for these services is $450,000.00 and is based on the number of employees and retirees enrolled in the medical plan. The contract term shall be from January 31, 2019 through December 31, 2019. | |
