The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval of a contract with Infax, Inc. in the amount of $56,988.96 for final phase of the baggage claim display upgrades. The baggage claim displays are used by the airlines to communicate baggage pick-up information to arriving passengers. The current displays were installed with the original flight information display system (FIDS) and have reached the end of their life cycle. 

In 2016, staff initiated an upgrade to the Baggage Claim Information System. The proposed upgrade is the second and final phase of the baggage system upgrade. The project consisted of replacing all monitors, cabling, and controls. This is a sole source purchase, as Infax, Inc. is the manufacturer of the current flight information display system.
