| Description Recommend approval of Contract Amendment No. 5 for the Bilbo Canal consultant agreement to Thomas & Hutton Engineering Co. in the amount of $34,450.00. The original contract was for engineering services associated with the design, permitting, and surveying for the Bilbo Canal drainage improvements project. This contract amendment is needed to include design modifications associated with the replacement of Foundry Street, which is located adjacent to Bilbo Canal. The Savannah River Landing owners have proposed an alternative layout for Foundry Street that is agreeable to the City. The original contract was approved by Council on October 23, 2008 in the amount of $271,000.00. The total amount of this contract to date, including this amendment, is $585,670.00. | |
