Recommend approval to renew an annual maintenance and license agreement for the Kiteworks software system with Accellion, Inc. in the amount of $46,906.20.

The City of Savannah uses the Kiteworks system for transferring secure files. This solution provides a secure process to transfer large documents. In addition, Kiteworks establishes a process for external partners to collaborate and share information with City staff. This secure file transfer process also provides an audit log to track receipt and sends timestamps for accountability.

This is a sole source because the City contracts with Accellion, Inc. to use this software. The license renewal and maintenance agreement are critical for its continued use and are only available from this source.

The contract term expires on December 31, 2020.
