A resolution in support of the City of Savannah submitting a federal grant application to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources to conduct a Phase III historic resources survey of the Cuyler-Brownville and Thomas Square Streetcar Historic Districts in partnership with Metropolitan Planning Commission.

The Project scope includes a Phase II survey of approximately 3,000 buildings within the historic districts that have not been updated since the 1990s. As part of the grant application submission, the Mayor and Alderman must adopt a resolution supporting the Georgia Department of Natural Resources grant application. The application calls for a grant budget of $35,000.00 with $21,000.00 from the Federal Granting Agency and $14,000.00 from the City of Savannah ($7,000.00 cash and $7,000.00 in-kind).
