26. Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Contract for AssetWorks Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Upgrade and Renewal from AssetWorks in the Amount of $208,089. AssetWorks EAM would be an expansion of the FleetFocusFA system currently being used by Fleet Services. It will allow Fleet Services to upgrade the outdated FleetFocusFA software and, migrate and store the existing data on a cloud platform supported by AssetWorks. (ITS)

Description

This contract is to procure professional services for an AssetWorks Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) upgrade and renewal from AssetWorks in the amount of $208,089. AssetWorks EAM would be an expansion of the FleetFocusFA system currently being used by Fleet Services. It will allow them to upgrade the outdated FleetFocusFA software and migrate and store the existing data on a cloud platform supported by AssetWorks. The upgrade will also support additional modules such as CAM allowing the Fleet Department to manage all assets, track maintenance costs, and monitor vehicle inventory life cycle. The NAPA HUB Interface Module gives Fleet Services access to a national parts inventory database allowing them to easily check on availability, purchase, and acquire parts for vehicle maintenance. 

 

Per section 2-4152 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a cooperative contract. The contract used for this procurement is a GSA contract # GS-35F-317GA. The contract was competitively bid and awarded by General Services Administration (GSA). The contract expires on March 23, 2027. Delivery: As requested. Terms: Net 30 days.

A pre-proposal meeting was not conducted as these services are being procured through the use of a cooperative purchasing agreement. (D) Indicates non-local, non-DBE business.
