| Description Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for scrap tire disposal services to Quality Tire Recycling, Inc. (465 Mallett Street, Jackson, GA)(D) for up to $55,000. The Sanitation Department utilizes this contract to dispose scrap tires from the following locations: Dean Forest Road Landfill, Bacon Park Convenience Center, and Fleet Services Department. In addition, this contract supports illegal dumping tire removal operations. The contract amount is based on a price increase requested by the vendor for rising services and equipment rental costs. This contract was originally awarded on December 19, 2019 in the amount of $35,000. This is the second renewal of four annual renewal options. Delivery: As needed. Terms: Net 30 days. A pre-proposel was not conducted as this is a renewal. (D) Indicats non-local, non-minority owned business. | |
