Title
27. Motion to Approve Contract Amendment No. 2 for Design-Build Services for the Pennsylvania Avenue Neighborhood Resource Center with Rives E. Worrell a JE Dunn Company (Event No. 4151)
Strategic Priority
Neighborhood Revitalization
Description

Recommend approval of Contract Amendment No. 2 for the Neighborhood Resource Center with Rives E. Worrell a JE Dunn Company in the amount of $27,816.00.

The original contract was for the site and building construction of the Pennsylvania Avenue Resource Center.  This amendment is needed to cover costs related to the sanitary sewer tie-in that could not be constructed as originally planned. The exact location of certain underground utilities related to the sewer tie-in differed from what was indicated on as-built drawings, and therefore could not have been determined until the utilities were field located during construction.

The original contract was approved by Council on June 9, 2016, in the amount of $476,545.00.  The total amount of this contract to date, including this amendment, is $6,580,633.00.
