The Sourcing Software for Electronic Bidding will be managed by the Commission’s Purchasing Department. Currently, the Commission manages solicitations through a paper-based system. Bonfire will streamline sourcing operations, increase advertisement of bids and enhance vendor performance on a cloud-based platform. There are over 20,000 suppliers registered on the Bonfire Platform. The Commission advertised a Request for Quotation (RFQ) from September 14 – October 17, 2023. As a result, Bonfire’s response met all requirements and specifications of the Commission. This is a 2023 budgeted item.
