Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for polygraph testing services with Southeastern Resolution Group, LLC in the amount of $52,500.  This contract will be used by the Savannah Police Department to polygraph test candidates in consideration for the position of sworn police officer/police officer trainee.  It has been documented that the polygraph examination is highly useful in the applicant investigation process as it deters those seeking to penetrate law enforcement departments as well as the submission of false/incomplete information by applicants.  While notifications were originally sent to all known suppliers, only one bid was received.

Bids were originally received on October 17, 2017.  Council originally approved this contract on January 18, 2018 in the amount of $52,500.  This is the second of four available renewal options available.  The contract term shall be January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
