Description

Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for grounds maintenance for City owned FEMA lots from Garcia Services, LLC (primary) and Complete Lawn Care (secondary) in the estimated amount of $85,500.  The contract will be used by the Greenscapes Division for mowing, cutting overgrowth, edging curbs, and debris removal on 519 City-owned lots and properties.  The services will include, but not limited to cutting, removing, and properly disposing from vacant lots and properties all vegetation and trash such as glass, cans, paper, or other discarded debris, including previously cut tress, small fallen trees, and fallen tree limbs.  

This event was assigned an 18% DBE goal.  The recommended proposer submitted DBE participation at the subcontractor level in the amount of 18% using Venson Lawn and Landscapes.

This is the first of three renewal options available.  The contract term shall be from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
