Recommend approval of a purchase for furniture for the Sanitation Headquarters from AllSeating, HON, Global and Jasper Seating, through Corporate Environments of Georgia, Inc in the amount of $133,403.

The furniture will support the completed renovation of the Sanitation Interim Headquarters Facilities located at 1809 Highway 80. These furniture items include desks, office chairs, storage and filing components, conference and training tables and multipurpose chairs.

AllSeating, HON, Global and Jasper Seating are approved vendors under the Georgia’s statewide approved contracts program. These statewide contracts are established for convenience and are available for use by all state and local public entities. The State of Georgia used a competitive bidding process to select AllSeating, HON, Global and Jasper Seating to serve as a provider for these commodities. Corporate Environments of Georgia, Inc. has a local presence in the City of Savannah and is a vendor who will oversee the ordering, delivery and installation of the furniture.

The renovation at the Sanitation Interim Headquarters project is nearing completion. Installation of the furnishings will take approximately sixty days once the order is placed.
