Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for directional boring with D & C Directional Boring LLC in the amount of $66,980.00. The Conveyance and Distribution Department uses this contract to provide directional boring installation services for water and sewer force mains that are failing or necessitate replacement. Directional boring is used in water main and sewer force main installation to avoid surface, traffic, business, and private property disruptions and excavations.

This is the second of three renewal options available. The contract term will be from August 31, 2017 through August 30, 2018.
