Description

A resolution authorizing the City Manager to submit the FY 2018 Supportive Housing Program grant application. The grant is in the amount of $693,715.00 to implement a supportive housing program known as City 54, which provides $40,219.00 in grantee administrative expenses and $653,496.00 for tenant-based rental subsidies and supportive services.

The supportive housing program is designed to provide housing and supportive services on a long-term basis for homeless persons with disabilities, such as serious mental illnesses, chronic substance abuse, and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), and their families who are living in places not intended for human habitation or in emergency shelters.
