Recommend approval to award an annual contract for lighting system repairs and maintenance to Hoffman Electric Company as the primary contractor and Aiken-Harper Electrical as the secondary contractor in the amount of $49,483.00. This contract is for the repair and installation of highway lighting along Interstate 16 from Chatham Parkway to the north end of the Talmadge Bridge. This work will include planned maintenance and emergency repairs in the event of traffic accidents, storms, hurricanes, vandalism, or equipment failures.

The contract term will be from August 3, 2017 through December 31, 2018.
