On September 29, 2016, the Savannah City Council approved four contracts totaling $1,510,000, to the Ross Innovative Employment Solutions Corporation - District 5 East to provide WIOA Adult and Dislocated Workers services for the PY2016 period, July 1, 2016-June 30, 2017. The services provided will be used to support the Coastal Region’s “One Stop” Delivery System as it pertains to job training, preparation and placement services throughout Bryan, Bulloch, Camden, Chatham, Effingham, Glynn, Liberty, Long, McIntosh and Screven counties.  The contracts will be used for Business Services, Support & Compliance, Career & Case Management Services and Resources Room Services. 

On June 23, 2017, The Coastal Workforce Development Board approved the transfer of funds from the Resource Room Services contract to the One-Stop Operator contract.The Resource Room Services contract budget will decrease by $49,150 and the One-Stop Operator allocations will increase by $49,150. These modifications/reallocations will cover higher costs in salaries, fringes, rent, utilities, postage, local mileage, indirect cost, and supplies/material categories resulting from the opening of two job centers and increased outreach efforts throughout the ten-county region.
