Description

Request authorizaton for the City Manager to execute a purchase and sale agreement with Chatham Steel for an easement at 0 West Gwinnett Street (PIN 20046 03013).  This acquitition helps facilitate the West Gwinnett Street Road Widening Project. This property is owned by Chatham Steel Corporation and is located on the north side of West Gwinnett Street, west of West Boundary Street. As determined by a third-party, well-qualified appraiser, fair market value for the right-of-way and easement totals $500. Chatham Steel has countered with $500 and attorneys fees, and staff reccomends approval of the counter offer.  Staff further requests approval for the City Manager to execute all associated closing documents.
