Description

Recommend approval to award a contract for critical workforce transportation services from Shofur, LLC on as needed basis following a disaster event in the City. The total amount will vary based on the nature and severity of disaster events.

The Emergency Planning Division will use the services to transport critical workforce personnel to and from shelters outside of the City. The vendors provided a daily price for various bus sizes to transport staff with the average proposed rate contributing toward their fee score.

The method used for this procurement was the request for proposals (RFP), which evaluates criteria in addition to cost. The proposals were evaluated on the basis of proposer’s qualifications and experience, including support capabilities, technical capabilities, fees, DBE participation and local participation.
