During the fiscal year, supplemental budget amendments are necessary to maintain the adopted legal level of control set forth in the Adopted Budget Resolution. This proposed amendment reflects updated personnel expense projections to implement a 3% Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) City-wide retroactive to July 4, 2021.

To implement this COLA, various adjustments to 2021 Service Center Appropriations are necessary.  Additional information denoting the required adjustments by Service Center and Fund are attached.

Approval of this proposed action supports the City’s goal to attract and retain well-qualified staff who exemplify the organization’s values, especially in a competitive employment market.
