Recommend approval to procure the installation of modular walls from National Office Systems in the amount of $98,013.53. The walls will be built in the McAlpin Square Shopping Center facility. This facility will house the Savannah Police Department Internal Affairs Unit. The improvements will create a conference room, reception area, and seven additional offices, which are necessary for proper accommodation of the Office of Professional Standards within the suite. Council approved the lease extension for this property on July 5, 2018. This is a sole source because National Office Systems is the only known company that is an authorized distributor of this type of modular wall system in this region.
