Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for cellular services with Verizon in the estimated amount of $655,049.16.  These services will be used by the Department of Information Technology to provide cellular devices and service City-wide. Current cellular service levels include: 136 cell phones, 638 iPhones, 617 air cards, and 66 iPads.

Proposals were originally received on June 17, 2014. Council originally approved this contract on July 10, 2014 in the amount of $489,822.60. This is the fourth of four renewal options available. Pricing is based on the cost per unit, and the vendor has agreed to hold unit pricing for all devices under the contract. This contract term will be from August 17, 2018 through August 16, 2019.
