Description

The Savananh Airport Commission recommends approval of a Reimbursement Agreement with Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, and Reimbursement for the Total Project in an Amount Not to Exceed $800,000 for the Cumulative Shared Improvements. On July 17, 2019, Commission Attorney Stillwell advised Staff to request consent and authorization from the Chairman and Commissioners for the Executive Director to sign a reimbursement between the Airport Commission, and Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. The Reimbursement Agreement is for site work and improvements related to redevelopment in the Southeast Quadrant. At its February 5, 2019 Commission meeting, the Commission executed a Land Lease Agreement for Parcel 5, which is a part of a larger development area located in the Southeast Quadrant. The reimbursable costs are to include improvements to Davidson Drive, a shared access road, installation of a shared storm water detention pond to serve the entire area, underground storage tank removal on one of the lease sites, and relocation of above ground power lines. Gulfstream will invoice the Commission for completed work, and staff will review and will recommend reimbursement. Staff recommends approval of formal ratification of the Reimbursement Agreement and reimbursement for the total project in an amount not to exceed $800,000.
