| Description Recommend approval to procure meals for the summer lunch program from Savannah-Chatham Board of Education in the amount of $3.55 per meal up to $300,000. The Recreation and Leisure Services Department will use the summer lunch program to provide approximately 84,600 meals to students. Due to the current situation, this program may be abbreviated, delayed or terminated completely. Therefore, the City will only be charged for the actual number of meals served. The summer lunch program is fully funded by a grant from the U.S Department of Agriculture. This is a sole source because Federal guidelines mandate that local school nutrition services be utilized to provide these school lunches when feasible. | |
