The Coastal Incentive Grant is funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and managed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Coastal Resources Division (GA DNR). All grant applications must have approval by the governing authority in resolution form.

Grant dollars in the amount of $13,000 will be used for the design of "construction ready" plans for the Factors Walk Green Roof Demonstration. All stakeholders will be involved in the design process. Actual construction would be subject to future approval and funding. The main benefits of the green roof demonstration are stormwater runoff reduction and beautification.
