The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval of payment of utility service fees to the City of Savannah for Jumbo General Aviation Federal Inspection Service Facility in the amount of $26,400.35.

Water and sewer utility services for the Jumbo General Aviation Federal Inspection Service Facility will be provided by the City of Savannah. The City levies fees to provide these services based on the number of residential units for residential facilities or equivalent residential units for commercial facilities. Water consumption of 300 gallons per day or a floor space of 3,000 square feet is the equivalent of one residential unit.

The Federal Inspection Station is 18,368 square feet, which equals 6.19 equivalent residential units. Multiplying the various City fees per equivalent residential unit (water tap-in fee, sewer tap-in fee, water additional fees, reclaimed water project fee, treatment plant fee, and sewer area additional fees) by 6.19 equivalent residential units amounts to a total utility fee payment of $26,400.35.
