| Description KONE, Inc. will provide material and labor to install elevator door lock monitoring device(s), per ASME A17.3-2020 Safety Code on Elevator #2, Elevator #3, Elevator #4, and Elevator #5. The State of Georgia is requiring all elevators to comply with the new Door Lock Monitoring Code requirement by 1/1/2025. The device monitors the car door position (open/close), preventing the elevator from leaving the landing while the doors are in the open position. KONE, Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and is currently contracted to provide all maintenance and repairs on these elevators. This is a 2024 budgeted item. | |
