Description

Recommend approval of a construction contract for the Placentia Canal drainage improvements with Griffin Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $486,140. The Stormwater Department will use this contract to upgrade the existing two 72” RCP culverts under Sunset Blvd to two 10x6’ box culverts. The project will also include the removal, repair and replacement of chain link fence, installation of 122 LF of timber guardrail, a new vehicle barrier gate and wooden fence, the demolition and replacement of sidewalks and curb and the new construction of driveway aprons. Water and sanitary systems will not be impacted.
